Reflecting in the New Year
| |
Invite students to start 2026 by reflecting on their learning experiences and envisioning the classroom community they want to co-create. Our Radical Imagination prompts encourage students to examine their relationships with science, explore power dynamics in group work, and imagine more equitable and joyful learning environments. These reflection questions are organized into five themes and can be adapted to fit your classroom context.

We have also created career pathway posters that show how physics opens doors across a wide range of fields, from mechanics to medicine.

Collaborative Design in Action: Partners in Professional Learning
At PEER Physics, we know teachers are invaluable partners in the development and design of our resources. This month, we are excited to shine a spotlight on Marci and Monica, dedicated educators and PEER Physics facilitators. Over the last month, they participated in a collaborative design process to review and refine our Professional Learning materials, bringing their classroom expertise directly into the revision cycle. By identifying key needs and brainstorming actionable solutions, their work helps ensure our professional learning continues to honor teachers’ expertise and deliver the rich, meaningful experiences our partners value.
Thank you, Marci and Monica, for your leadership and for partnering with us to support teachers across the country!
